-
I am ever learning the different aspects of God. I am consistent in my devotions and time with God. I see Him in the many friends and mentors. Iron sharpens iron and the board really is a great example of this biblical principal.

Strategic thinking. And I have a passion for discipleship and mentoring.
-
I love the quality of the preaching. I really appreciate the diversity of the Body of Christ here.
-
My continued emphasis is on discipleship. That's one of the reasons I want to be part of Young Adults -- to be part of cross-generational and cross-cultural mentoring.
-
I love the study of God's Word and its application across all areas of life. Being part of the board is not just about the business of the church, but more about the spiritual life of the church. I believe the board plays a significant role in supporting Pastor Andy and his vision for the future for BCC.
-
Any place I can sit, have a coffee, and have a chat with a friend (or soon to be friend). I think there are precious few coffee places in the metro area I haven't visited.

Serve on the Board
Serve and lead in BCC kids both on Sunday and Wednesday
-
I have a willingness to serve and see through God's plans for myself, family, and church. I work hard to help people feel included and welcomed in our church. As a teacher, I lead by example and desire the best for all people. My love for all people, helps me see their perspectives and brings peace in my interactions. Most importantly, I live my life for God and have put my trust in him.
-
My favorite part of BCC is the community I found there that has led me in my spiritual growth from a child till today.
-
As a teacher, I love and support the growth of BCC Kids. I would love to see build up more leaders and support to go to continued improvement of BCC Kids.
-
I always strive to live a life that honors God. It is my daily desire to glorify and honor him through my life and actions. I bring that commitment into every aspect of my life including my job as a teacher and my time with the board.

I believe I have a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and desire to put God first in every situation and area of my life and will continue to seek God’s guidance and direction while on the board.
-
I love the sense of family we have as a church! Since the first day we walked into those doors, we were welcomed and loved!
-
Nothing to improve, but just a continued sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to move.
-
I am overwhelmed by the grace and forgiveness God has given me. Every day I am completely reliant on His guidance and direction, because I myself, cannot be the person, wife and mother I need to be without His hand on me. Every decision, big or small, requires me to take a step back and wait. I first wait, so that I can have a clear head, no emotions. Then I take time to seek God and ask him to guide my thoughts and help me to make the decision that pleases Him. I would follow those exact steps when leading our board. Always seeking the Lord for all decisions.

Favorite place, gosh… we love Bellevue, Dairy Queen! Honestly, anything in Bellevue is where our heart is. Watching Bellevue West football on a Friday night and enjoying our girls playing their sports at Bellevue! Our favorite thing in Omaha has to be the Omaha Zoo!

I believe that I possess leadership skills and abilities that I can bring to the board. I value people and relationships and I excel at having crucial conversations and improving communication within any group that I’m a part of. My biggest strength is my desire to be fully surrendered in ensuring that we follow the will of the Lord. Willing to give grace when we fall short but not willing to compromise with Him being the center of all that we do.
-
The presence of God is our first pursuit and we believe in the power of prayer and seeking HIM. I’ve seen and experience miracles that HE has orchestrated in our church. I am reassured on a regular basis that I’m where I’m supposed to be.
-
I would like to assist with helping BCC expand into areas of Omaha and reach out to those in need in the Omaha Metro area.
-
I believe I continue to be a work in process and in progress. I am blessed in so many ways. HE continues to put me in positions and places where I hear HIS voice and HE speaks through others to reassure me of HIS plan and purpose. HE’s given me opportunities to build relationships with people and speak life into them. HE’s also put some key people in my life that help me to stay on track and speak life into me; this has helped me repent when needed and reassured me of my need for HIM and HIS grace and mercy. In all things, I have a desire to follow His will; I may fall short on occasion but I know HIS grace is sufficient and every now and again he’ll remind me of how far I’ve come and how much I need HIM and must die to my old self daily.
-
I’d like to start a ministry that brings law enforcement and community members who have experienced trauma together to point us to Christ and bridge gaps that can often exist for a variety of reasons (legitimate, perceived, and lies told by the enemy).
-
I enjoy spending time with family and being present at home by getting time to check in with the girls and Tonya.

I believe that one of my spiritual gifts is the gift of discernment, and I believe that gifting is valuable to the board when praying for the church and decisions that have to be made.
-
I love the diversity our church has. You can meet someone from so many different walks of life and backgrounds. It is such an incredible way to learn and gain an understanding of the different aspects of God’s heart. No matter what someone’s background is, our church is incredibly welcoming to anyone who walks through our doors.
-
An area I’ve always been passionate about is discipleship. I believe that discipleship is a key aspect to everyone’s walk with Christ, no matter how long you’ve been following Him. I want to see the amount of people who want discipleship in their life increase. As well as an increase in the amount of people who want to disciple others. I believe our church will grow and be closer to Jesus when we have more people invested in all aspects of discipleship.
-
God speaks to me through my quiet time with Him, and it’s my desire to be intentional to seek God’s heart for what He wants for the church during this board term. I believe God has new things in store for BCC, and I want to have an open heart and mind for whatever that looks like according to His will. It is my desire to thank and praise God for what He has done in the past at BCC but pray into what He wants for our future.
-
I would love to visit all 50 US states. So far, I’ve been to 39 states.

A skill I’d love to learn more of and master, is wood working. I grew up with my grandpa being a great craftsman. I’d love to practice that skill and be able to make things as well as he did.
