Schedule Change for Worship LIVE
Our next Worship LIVE will be held on Sunday, May 25th. It has been cancelled this evening in celebration of Mother’s Day.

New Journey Class
A new Journey Class, The Bait of Satan – Living Free from the Deadly Trap of Offense, will begin this Friday, May 16th, at 6:30 P.M. Led by Kelly Mincey and Trudy Walter, it will be held at 2208 Camp Brewster Road in Bellevue. The cost for materials will be $10 per person. Pick up a Journey Class brochure at the Information Booth in the foyer for more information.

Seniors’ Hot Potato and Worship Night
The Seasoned Saints, BCC’s ministry to seniors (50+ years), will have a Hot Potato and Worship night on May 22nd at 6:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall. The dinner will include your choice of white or sweet potato and a salad. Worship will be led by our very own Al Greco. Sign up at the table in the foyer.

2008 Graduates – Congratulations!
If you are graduating from college or high school this year, we would like to acknowledge your accomplishment during our Sunday services on May 18th. Please fill out a tear-off and submit a photo to the church office at akeller@bellevuechristian.com by May 12th.

The Huddle – 2nd Annual Men’s Golf Event
The Huddle, BCC’s Men’s Ministry, will have its 2nd Annual Men’s Golf Event on Saturday, May 24th, (rain or shine) at 1:00 P.M. at beautiful Shoreline Golf Course. Stop by the men’s table in the foyer and sign up today! For more information, please contact Walt Dunston at 734-4788.

BCC’s men’s ministry, The Huddle, encourage all men to consider being an usher. This is a great opportunity to serve the church body! If interested in getting involved, sign up on the tear off or call Lew Valentine at 292-7059.
 

  WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Women’s Rainbow Brunch- This Saturday
Spring is here! If you are a woman out of high school, come celebrate with us on Saturday, May 17th, at 10:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall. We will enjoy a gourmet brunch prepared especially for us by the men. Each table will be decorated in the color of spring. You can select which color table you would like to sit at when you sign up, and then dress accordingly. For example, if you choose the pink table, you will receive a pink ticket, and then dress in as much pink as possible. There will even be door prizes!

Our special speaker for this event is Brenda Travis. Brenda served 7 years on a pastoral. After becoming a widow, she sensed God calling her to be a seeker of His heart. Following that call, she began to serve at International House of Prayer in Kansas City and ministers to the Lord in prayer 30 hours a week. You will enjoy her humorous yet pointed way of communicating. Tickets are on sale in the foyer for just $5. Be sure to get yours today!!!
 

KIDS' CORNER

Kids Camp Fundraising!
Super Church will hold two carwashes to help kids raise funds for camp. The first one will be held Saturday, May 17th from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bellevue, and the next one on Saturday, May 24th, from 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Sonic Burger in Bellevue. Kids and leaders who would like to earn money to offset their transportation costs will need to sign up in the Fellowship Hall at the Super Church check-in.

Children’s Sunday School – Help for the Summer

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

Important Ministry Opportunity
Did you know one of the most important ministries takes place at 8:30 A.M., 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. on Sunday mornings? While there’s no special music or preached message, there’s laughter, tears, and sometimes funny smells. You guessed it, it is the Nursery! Each Sunday, Moms and Dads drop off their newborn to 3-year-olds in our Nursery so that they can be ministered to in the service. Each week, someone hears the gospel, is touched by God’s heart, and receives the Word because there are servants in the Nursery caring for the children.

This month, the Nursery theme is “The Bible is God’s Book.” Pergo Deus is serving today to give our moms a well-deserved day, and on the last Sunday of this month, Grandparents’ Day, our Seasoned Saints will be. If you too would like to be a part of this team, please sign the tear-off or stop by the Nursery! You will be blessed!
 

NOAH'S ARK NEWS

Enrollment in Noah’s Ark Preschool and Childcare
Noah’s Ark is currently accepting registrations for the upcoming Summer and Fall Sessions. The Summer Session, beginning June 2nd, is filled with fun outdoor / indoor activities, exciting field trips, and a curriculum with a creative Bible theme. The Fall Preschool Session, beginning September 2nd, consists of an academic preschool curriculum, arts, crafts, and other creative activities. Employment Opportunity at Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark is now accepting employment applications for the upcoming Summer and Fall Sessions. This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience with children! One-year experience in organized children’s activities or a plan to acquire training in the area of child development and early childhood education is needed.
