Journey Classes help you learn about the "Journey."
“Journey Classes” or Christian education is an evangelistic and educational ministry intended for individuals of all ages. It is designed to provide a systematic learning process to help you develop and mature in your walk or journey with Christ.
The main session is conducted on Sunday mornings, but other learning sessions may be sponsored by the Christian Education Department: Wednesday morning/evening Bible classes and other continuing ministry programs.
Why are Journey Classes or Christian Education important?
· Every Christian needs to know God and understand His plan for life.
· Studying the Bible helps to connect us with God and to understand His plan.
· As a person studies God’s Word, the Holy Spirit helps the individual to live the life God has planned for him/her.
· Bible Studies provide the small group dynamics necessary for spiritual growth and accountability.
· Bible Studies provide an opportunity for systematic, age-appropriate instruction.
· Bible Studies provide ministry development opportunities for teachers and other staff members.
· Bible Studies provide opportunities for the development of meaningful interpersonal relationships.
