Food for Friends Ministry
“When I was hungry, you fed me…”
As an Outreach Ministry, we provide meals to families in crises. This outreach includes hospitalizations, births, and other special needs.
New
Baby Visitation Ministry
“Children are a gift from
God.”
We desire to welcome each new
life that the Lord gives. Each time a baby is born, we have small gift
baskets that are delivered to welcome the new life, as well as minister to
the new mother.
Hospitality Ministry
“I came not to be served,
but to serve.”
This Ministry is the backbone of every Women’s Ministry special event. It consists of greeters, hostesses, registrations table workers, etc. If you have a servant’s heart, we need you.
“Women of Purpose” Special Events
“Do not forsake the assembling of
yourselves…”
Throughout the year, Women’s Ministry sponsors a Special Event. This may include anything from a Fellowship Breakfasts, Saturday Mini-Seminar or Women’s Conference. You can find out about upcoming events by reading the Sunday Bulletin or visiting the Events page on the BCC web site.
Outreach Ministry
“Go into all the world and
preach the good news…”
Women’s Ministry sponsors
several community outreaches throughout the year. These include our
participation in the annual “Feed the Multitude” Thanksgiving dinner, where
hundreds are transported in for food and fellowship, periodic visits to
Lydia House to minister the Word of God and provide encouragement to women
that are homeless, and annual Red Cross Blood Drives.
Women’s Bible Study Cell Ministry
“Thy Word is a Lamp unto my
feet…”
We offer morning and evening Bible Studies for women. Childcare is available at the Church. For a complete listing of Small Groups, please pick up a listing at the Information Booth or call the church office (291-0616). You may also visit our Bible Study page.
Counseling Ministry
“Older women likewise are
to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips,
nor enslaved to
much wine, teaching what is good. That they may encourage the younger
women…”
Our counseling ministry strives to provide biblically-based counseling, encouragement and help to women of all ages.
Bereavement Ministry
“Blessed are they that
mourn…”
This Ministry of comfort is extended to families during their time of sorrow. We offer prayers, cards, post-funeral meals, etc.
M-Pact Girls' Club
“Train up a child in the way…”
M-Pact is a Ministry to girls age 3-17, similar to the Girls Scouts, with a spiritual emphasis. There is an ongoing need for teachers and assistants. Training is provided. We meet each Wednesday at 7:00 -8:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Auditorium.
